Index of Masterpieces .

Munch's graphic works are just as important as his paintings. The "Berliner Kupferstichkabinett" possesses one of the most representative collections of the artist's graphic works outside Norway.
The selection of the masterpieces here on exhibition, demonstrates, on the one hand, the multitude of graphic techniques, and, on the other hand, the unique variety of the themes. Moreover, themes that the artist embraced throughout his life, and that appear to have formed his art, have been selected. All of these selected works were already famous in his lifetime, and they still arouse interest amongst audiences and researchers.
